The Line Between Censorship and Moderation

It makes sense to think about these positions of the stack very differently: the top of the stack is about broadcasting — reaching as many people as possible — and while you may have the right to say anything you want, there is no right to be heard.

In other words, free speech is not the same as free reach. So I do not equate punting abhorrent content creators from platforms (even big ones) as a free speech issue, per se. But I do think it’s easy to get wrong and that will be hard to undo. If the moderators are wont to make their own rules, they can and will be abused.
